Alliance settings

Alliance settings is where R5 (and R4 for some panels) configures how the platform behaves for the whole alliance — Desert Storm day and time, server reset hour, VS input mode, branding colours, Discord webhook URL, server-directory visibility, performance expectations, and more. Saving any panel revalidates the relevant cached pages so changes show up immediately.

The panels

  • General — alliance name, in-game tag, server number, server reset hour. The reset hour anchors the Arms Race tracker, the daily check-in board, and any per-day cadence the platform shows.
  • Desert Storm — match day, match start time, auto-create toggle, default battlefield template, opponent label. Drives the Friday match auto-creation flow.
  • Alliance Duel — daily vs weekly input mode, tracked positions, donation tracked positions. Affects how VS rankings flow into Pulse.
  • War windows / safe time — the candidate windows members vote on for the daily safe-time slot, plus war days configuration.
  • Branding — alliance logo and theme colour. Surfaces on the dashboard, exported hive maps, and announcements.
  • Discord — webhook URL for posting announcements and DS lifecycle events to the alliance Discord.
  • Server directory — whether your alliance shows in the public server-directory listing for treaty discovery.
  • Performance expectations — per-signal target values that Pulse uses for absolute scoring.
  • Custom audiences — saved member lists for re-targeting announcements without re-picking members each time.
  • Season — pick the active the game season so the season checklist and resistance overlay match.
  • Privacy and data — DSAR export, data deletion, and public-listing opt-outs.
  • Danger zone — leave the alliance, transfer leadership (R5 only), or delete the alliance entirely. All destructive actions require typed confirmation.

Officer vs owner controls

R4 and R5 can edit the operational settings together: General, Branding, Performance Expectations, Server directory, Desert Storm, Alliance Duel, War windows, Discord, Custom audiences, and Season.

Ownership and lifecycle controls stay reserved for the alliance owner or authorised web admins: billing, co-admin management, leadership transfer, invite-code rotation, archive, and delete.

Common configuration

Three settings drive most of the rest of the platform:

  • Server reset time. Enter the reset using your own local clock. Last Command stores the underlying UTC instant, derives the game-server clock, and uses it to anchor Arms Race phases, daily check-ins, and other per-day cadences.
  • Desert Storm day and team times. Drives auto-creation of both weekly matches, including separate Team A and Team B start times, signup deadlines, and member-configurable personal reminders.
  • Discord webhook URL. Optional but the single biggest QoL upgrade once configured — DS events, announcements, and reminders land in the alliance channel without copy-paste.
