Contribution leaderboard

The Contribution leaderboard answers one question every week — who is actually carrying the alliance? It scores every active member across the events you count, ranks them highest-first, and turns the top of the board into a reward proposal you can hand out. Officers see the ranking for free; tuning how contribution is scored is the Pro upgrade.

What the leaderboard is

Open Leaderboard from the Overview. It rolls up a single week of activity — aligned to the ISO week (Monday to Sunday) — into one contribution score per member, then ranks everyone highest-first. Use the week picker to step back through previous weeks; you can never select a future week.

The score isn't a mystery number. Each event you count contributes points, those points are weighted, and the weighted total is what ranks the board. Unlike the other analytics surfaces, the leaderboard itself is not paywalled — free officers see the default score-first ranking. What Pro unlocks is the ability to change how that score is built.

// NOTE

The leaderboard is an officer surface. R5 (leader), R4 (admin) and web admins see it; R3 and below are redirected to the Overview. Members track their own contribution through My history instead.

Events, methods and weights

Contribution is assembled from the events your alliance already records — Alliance Duel (VS), donations, Desert Storm and other match events, shields, power growth and any custom rankings you keep. Every enabled event is scored by one of four methods, and each method reads the numbers in a different way:

  • Rank points — the top of the board earns the most, dropping a step each place down. Best for scored ladders like Alliance Duel or donations.
  • Raw score — points scale with the actual number posted. You can normalise so one big-number event can't dominate the total.
  • Attendance — flat points for turning up at all. Best for match events like Desert Storm or Marshal's Guard.
  • Growth — points scale with power gained over the week, rewarding building rather than just scoring. It reads from Power Tracker snapshots.

Every event carries a weight, and the weights live in a profile. There are three profiles — normal, push and save — so a week where you push for scores can reward VS and donations heavily, while a save week can lean on growth and simply showing up. The board shows which profile is active for the week you're viewing.

// TIP

Not sure where to start? The setup page ships presets — Score-first (every event counts equally), Attendance-first (turning up carries the weight) and Push / Save split (different weights for push and save weeks). Apply one, then adjust from there.

Reading the board

The board leads with four summary tiles, then a rank-by-member table (a card per member on mobile) with a column for every scored event and a total on the right. Each event column shows its weight (×N) under the header so you can see what's driving the score. The tiles are worth reading carefully — two of them look similar but mean different things:

  • Top contributor — the member at the top of the board this week, with their points.
  • Members scored — how many members actually earned points this week. This is your active contributor count.
  • On the board — how many active members are ranked at all. Everyone active appears, even on zero, so the gap between this and “Members scored” is the number who did nothing counted this week.
  • Scored events — how many events are weighted into the total for this week.

Ties share a rank, and the search box filters without renumbering people. If the board is empty, it's usually because no events are weighted for the week — turn some on in the scoring setup.

Turning scores into rewards

The Rewards sub-page (linked from the leaderboard) reads this week's board and drafts a proposal — who earned what. It has two layers:

  1. 1

    Recognition (always on)

    Out of the box the proposal names an MVP — the top contributor — and a set of shout-outs for the runners-up. This is recognition, not a transferable prize, and it's available to every officer. There's a Discord-ready announce block you can copy straight into your alliance channel.

  2. 2

    Custom reward grants (configurable)

    On top of recognition you can define what your alliance actually hands out and which board positions earn it — a train Conductor seat for the top contributor, VIP seats for the runners-up, an ultra-rare decoration, or anything else you name yourself. The proposal then assigns each grant to the right members by rank bracket (“#1”, “#2–3”, “top 10”).

  3. 3

    R5 approves and hands it out

    The proposal is a suggestion, not an automatic payout. Rewards are recognition and in-game seats or decorations handed out manually — never gems or anything transferable — so the leader (R5) stays in control of the final call.

// NOTE

Recognition is free for officers. Configuring the custom reward grants is a Pro feature, the same as scoring setup below.

Customising scoring and who can see it

The Scoring setup page is where you pick a method and weight for every event and set separate weights for push and save weeks. Reading the effective configuration is open to all officers, so free officers still see exactly what they'd be tuning — but saving changes is Pro. Free alliances land on the setup page and see the upgrade prompt in context rather than a hidden feature.

Because it scores the same events as Officer Pulse and Alliance metrics, the leaderboard is the recognition-and-reward companion to those diagnostic views: Pulse tells you who's slipping, the leaderboard tells you who to celebrate. Post the standouts alongside your Weekly Report before reset.
