Season coverage
A season's fixed-time events fire on the server clock, but your members live in different time zones. The coverage board lists every timed window in each viewer's own local time and lets people claim the ones that fall in their waking hours — so officers can see, at a glance, which windows still have nobody awake to cover them.
What it covers
The board's windows come from the current season's fixed-time events — things like Blood Night, Beast Crisis and City Clash that fire at set hours on the game server. Each event becomes one or more slots on the board; a season with no timed events has nothing to cover, and the board says so and points you at the season playbook for its war days instead.
// NOTE
Reading the board
Each row is one window and shows its time both ways — server time and your time — with a toggle to lead with whichever you prefer. Seeing the window in your own local hours is the whole point: it tells you instantly whether it lands while you're awake. Rows also show the days they run and how long they last, and an all-day event is tagged as such rather than given a start time.
A count at the top — “5/8 windows covered” with a progress bar — gives officers the health of the whole board in one line, and any window with nobody on it wears a red Uncovered badge so the gaps are obvious.
Claiming and assigning
Coverage is claimed, not just assigned. Any member can hit I'll cover on a window that falls in their day, and drop it again later. Everyone who's covering a window shows up in its roster, so a window can carry several people across different zones.
// TIP
Season-aware behaviour
Like the rest of the season surfaces, the board follows the season set in Settings:
- No season / off-season — there are no timed windows to coordinate, so the board points officers at the season tracker and tells members it'll open once the season is set.
- Season with no timed events — the board is empty by design and sends you to the playbook for that season's war days and deadlines.
- Season with timed events — the full board, with claim and assign, in everyone's local time.
