What this tool computes (and what it doesn't)
This planner does one honest piece of arithmetic: coal in stock divided by the burn rate your furnace screen shows, projected onto your local clock. That gives you the hours of heat left and the moment the furnace runs dry if nothing changes.
It does not invent temperature bands or hidden stat formulas. The confirmed mechanics are that temperature continuously impacts your base's stats and that coal fuels the High-Heat Furnace and builds seasonal structures — your burn rate and thresholds come from your own game screen, not from us.
Rule of thumb for officers: get the whole alliance above a few days of runway before Rare Soil War days, so war windows are spent fighting rather than gathering.
