Refund Policy
Last updated 13 April 2026
This Refund Policy applies to Last Command, a product of Instance Labs LTD. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.
1. Your Statutory Rights (UK Consumers)
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. For digital services purchased online, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which you can cancel for any reason.
Important: If you request that we begin providing the Service immediately (before the 14-day cooling-off period ends), you acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once the Service has been fully performed. For partially performed services, you may still cancel but will be charged for services already provided.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
2. Free Trial
Pro subscriptions include a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate Last Command Pro before committing. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
This means every alliance gets 14 days to evaluate Pro features — either through the free trial or with the statutory cooling-off period.
3. After the Trial or Cooling-Off Period
Once the 14-day period has passed (whether as a free trial or paid subscription), subscription fees are non-refundable. Upon cancellation:
- Your alliance retains access to Pro features until the end of the current billing period
- Your alliance reverts to the free tier when the billing period ends
- Data associated with Pro-only features is retained but inaccessible until you resubscribe
4. Subscription Cancellation
The R5 (alliance leader) can cancel the Pro subscription at any time through the billing management page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — you are not charged again, but access continues until the period you have already paid for expires.
5. Exceptions
Outside the statutory cooling-off period, refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate or erroneous charges
- Service was inaccessible for an extended period despite contacting support
- Billing error on our part
Exception claims must be made within 30 days of the charge in question. We will review each case on its merits.
6. How to Request a Refund
If you are within the 14-day cooling-off period or believe you qualify for an exception:
- Email us at legal@instancelabs.dev with your alliance name and the reason for your request
- We will respond within 5 business days
- Approved refunds will be processed via Stripe to your original payment method within 14 business days
